Dr. Justin Mays grew up in Austin and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to receive his optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He has extensive externship experience including primary care, ocular disease and co-management of pre and post-operative ophthalmic surgery. He enjoys treating pediatric and geriatric patients and fitting a wide range of contact lenses. Outside of the office, he enjoys tacos, dancing, theatre and hiking with his fellow Longhorn-Cougar-husband, Cameron, and their blue-heeler, Korra. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry.
